2018 Harvest Day A Great Success

On a crisp morning, we started at 8am to miss the rain squawls due mid morning.  In good timing the rain squawl came through just in time for morning tea.  Whilst we warmed up with a cuppa and re-energized with some home made cakes and sandwiches, Andy ensured the smoker and bbq were ready for lunchtime.  Well ahead of schedule thanks to the arrival of the Rotary Club of Noble Park, we were able to finish the harvest in record time at 11.30am.

As we cracked open a few bottles of wine to enjoy with our bbq lunch, the chatter of the day continued.  Good food, good wine and most importantly good friendship.  Thankyou again to all those who volunteered – you’re wonderful !
